Deep Water Well

Deep Water Wells

In the South West of Bangladesh, only 58% of the population has access to clean water.

As well as being prone to tidal surges, cyclones and river erosion, which are destroying existing water facilities and contaminating the drinking water, arsenic and iron is also present in the water at ground level. This means that deep water wells are the most appropriate method of water delivery for this location, benefiting up to 200 households and their livestock.
