The Rohingya refugees have known nothing but suffering for years on end. Their families were torn apart, homes burned to the ground, and lives shattered.
And now with Ramadan upon us, they are facing hunger. At a time when families come together, and share meals and prayers, the Rohingya refugees are struggling for survival.

NovoJibon has been on the ground in the Rohingya Camps since 2016. We’re distributing Iftar packs and meals to the refugees, this Ramadan. But we can not do it without your help.

Fatima’s life was shattered in the most brutal manner imaginable. Her father was shot before her own eyes and then, her mother was subjected to abuse. Fatima fled, her small feet carrying her away from the only home she had ever known. She is one of the countless Rohingya who have made it to Bangladesh, seeking refuge in the camps of Cox’s Bazar, a place that is filled with suffering and despair.
Orphans like Fatima have lost their families and homes, but they don’t have to be alone. Your help can provide Fatima with the much-needed sustenance she needs to have a joyous Ramadan.

Since our inception 28 years ago, we’ve been working on several projects that are geared toward saving lives and empowering families, women, and society in various parts of the world. Some of our projects in Bangladesh are as follows.
#EducationMatters
We’ve built a 7-story educational center in Bangladesh. We started with 400 students; now we cater to 1500 students. Currently, we are ranked 12th best in the country.
#EducationMatters in Rural Areas
We’ve built 5 schools in the villages. Each school has a teacher and 30 full-time students. Our students study both secular and Islamic subjects.

We’ve built 88 deep wells that benefit over 14,000 people indirectly and over 20 hand pumps that benefit over 3,000 people directly every day in the rural areas of Bangladesh.
